Modesty is not weakness, and trustworthiness is not something to compromise. When ḥayā’ disappears, sins become easy. When amānah disappears, trust is destroyed. And when these noble qualities are lost, corruption finds its way into society. Do not follow the crowd when good character becomes rare.   Hold firmly to what pleases Allah, even if you stand alone.
